•  The e-PRO Certification Course is an educational program unlike any other professional certification or designation course available, comprehensive and Interactive. It is sponsored by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and is specifically designed to help real estate professionals thrive in the competitive world of online real estate. Born into a real estate oriented family, Kevin was first licensed to sell real estate in Minnesota in 1989. Prior to being licensed, Kevin spent a couple years assisting his father, Gene L. Goedker, who has been active in Brainerd Area Real Estate since 1965.

After working with Goedker Realty in sales and property management, he spent five years serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the service, he received Honor Graduate status in three of the four schools he was sent to and awards for superior performance, good conduct and motivation.

Upon completion of Honorable military service, Kevin relocated to Northwest Florida to be with his active duty Air Force wife. Almost immediately, Kevin returned to work in the real estate field eventually owning a real estate brokerage in Destin, Florida. While in Florida Kevin was involved in the local REALTOR association, local civic organizations and the State Property Management Council. Kevin returned to the Brainerd area in 2000, again working directly with his father Gene Goedker. Kevin then joined Edina Realty in 2008. Kevin is an ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative, e-PRO, Internet Certified REALTOR®, and GRI, Graduate of REALTORS Institute®.

Kevin remains active in the happenings of the Brainerd Lakes Area with such activities as; Sertoma member (Past-Secretary), Greater Lakes Association of REALTORS MLS President, Northeast Brainerd Residents’ Association, elected member of the Brainerd City Council, and Past-Commandant of the Heartland Detachment of the Marine Corps League, just to name a few!

GOEDKER JOINS EDINA REALTY

Jim Eisler, Manager of Edina Realty Brainerd/Baxter and Crosslake announced today that a well established real estate industry name in the Brainerd area has joined the Edina Realty team. Kevin Goedker, has earned the ABR, GRI designations and ePro certification, and is licensed as a Realtor® in Minnesota and also holds a brokers license in the state. With over 12 years experience in the residential and property management real estate industry, Eisler said Goedker is a perfect edition to the Edina Realty family in the Brainerd/Baxter office.

Goedker has served on the Brainerd City Council since elected in 2004. A graduate of Brainerd High School, he also served five years in the United States Marine Corp. He keeps up with his Marine connection in the community by serving as a Past Commandant of the Heartland Detachment, Marine Corp League and by serving on the Brainerd Community Action Board that sponsors Arts-In-The-Park whose most recent event was in support of deployed troops. Kevin finds time to serve the school district as chair of the Garfield PTA and serves on an Advisory Committee of ISD 181.

In addition to community leadership, Kevin Goedker is President of the Greater Lakes Multiple Listing Service and also serves on the Greater Lakes Area Realtors® Association Board of Directors. He serves on the Minnesota Association of Realtors® Board of Directors, and the MAR Professional Standards Committee and is an Ethics standards trainer for MAR.
